Join the WV Collective!
We’re looking for actors for our upcoming Fall production of Dolly Parton’s classic 9-5! If you would like to be a member of the WV Collective team, please sign up to be added to our audition schedule. WV Collective is a local performance art non-profit, so Singing / Acting experience is a plus, but not required. Just know that every cast member will be required to sing and learn some basic choreography as part of their role.
When Is The Audition?
Auditions will take place at Theatre WV’s office building at 715 N Kanawha St in Beckley WV on Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 4pm-8pm.
What Will I Need For The Audition?
Everyone who wishes to audition will be asked to read from a script we will provide. We may ask you to read multiple characters to find which role works best for you.
In addition to reading dialogue, everyone will be asked to prepare a song. Any song that shows your vocal range will work, and we can provide a speaker to play background tracks. A choreographer will also be present to run through some basic dance and movement.
